Danube Beaches

The weekend area Vinci is located right on the banks of the Danube, revealing—or sometimes hiding—its charming spots, depending on what suits you best. Whether you’re a fisherman, a sailor, a traveler looking for a peaceful escape while watching boats glide across the blue Danube, or someone who enjoys the liveliness of beach crowds, cafés, and restaurants, we’re confident you’ll find your perfect slice of the Danube along this 8-kilometer stretch of riverbank from Vinci to Golubac.

Additional Information:
The beaches in the Vinci weekend area are sandy. The entry into the water is gradual, and the riverbed remains sandy for the first 30 meters. There are no lifeguards on duty at these beaches. For your safety, we advise you not to go deeper than shoulder height. Based on our many years of experience, we can confidently say that the beaches are safe—no incidents have ever been reported, nor have any whirlpools been observed near our shores.
